CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA – Vigor Gaming Computer, a developer of custom gaming rigs and high-end peripherals, has announced its iSurf II, a next generation hard drive cooling system that keeps high RPM hard drives running cool and silent.
The Vigor iSurf II hard drive cooler can reduce hard drive temperatures by as much as 10C while increasing drive performance. The cooler attaches within minutes to a standard 5.25-inch drive bay to quickly dissipate heat build up with its twin 40mm fans and all aluminum design. It runs at 4000 RPM and a quiet 20.7dB(A) noise level.
Today’s high performance 7200 and 10,000 RPM hard drives generate tremendous heat. Vigor Gaming engineers found that aluminum is the best material to quickly dissipate heat generated by high performance IDE or SATA hard drives. Gaming systems are particularly vulnerable to data corruption and hard drive failure because the hard drive is in constant operation when playing games.
The Vigor iSurf II has a MSRP of $29.99. All models are available direct from Vigor Gaming at www.vigorgaming.com and major online stores.
